Naomi Durant '24 Recruiting Profile

My passion for basketball began in second grade as I watched my older brother play; I took advantage of every opportunity I could get to play with the boys. Although I am self-motivated and driven to do my best during every practice and game, I have always been a coachable athlete, which has helped accelerate and improve my game even further throughout the years.  I have also played travel soccer and basketball for 3 years.  Due to my coachable attitude, leadership and positive influence on my high school basketball team, I was selected as one out of ten Junior athletes to represent my high school at the MHSAA Sportsmanship Summit in November, 2022. This season, I tied my high school’s record for the most 3-pointers in one game and I am determined to beat it before my high school basketball career ends.  My next goal and dream is to play basketball at the collegiate level.
