Since I was 7 years old, basketball has been a positive force in my life. I have been very fortunate to have played for coaches that inspired, motivated and encouraged me throughout my basketball career. Naturally, that has compelled me to want to play at the college level. Working hard has been my focus throughout my life, which has helped me to be an honor student in the classroom and a dedicated teammate on the court. Basketball has taught me that success does not come easy and life does not always go as planned. Making sacrifices and pushing my limits has made me the player I am today.
In college, I plan to be an energetic and powerful player while being a positive influence for my teammates. As I develop, I plan to continue earning high grades in my academics throughout my college years. My education is extremely important to me and I want to graduate knowing I gave it my all.
