Megan Lind '25 Recruiting Profile

As a three sport athlete I have learned a lot about myself through basketball, cross country and track.  Each sport has taught me many lessons that have helped me not only in the competitive arena, but in my daily life.  Track and cross country have taught me the importance of self-discipline and how to push myself internally while basketball has taught me the importance of teamwork and accountability.  My work ethic has allowed me to letter in basketball, track and cross country, as well as earn All-League honors in each sport and voted team captain in basketball and cross country my Junior year.  Being voted team captain has allowed me the opportunity to continue strengthening my leadership skills.  My true love is basketball and the sport I would like to pursue in college.

I also excel in the classroom being a member of the National Honor Society and a scholar athlete with a 3.75 GPA.  My academic success has always been important to me and I have worked hard to achieve a balance between academics and extra curricular activities in order to be successful in both.  In college I want to major in Pre-Medicine.  I believe my rigorous schedule and work ethic in high school has helped to prepare me for the challenge of balancing college academics and athletics in the future.
