Sophie Moeller '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm a three sport athlete in a small rural community in Northeast Oregon. The last three years I have maintained a 4.0 gpa and received several academic awards. I received 1st team all-league in basketball the last 2 years.  Currently I'm the point guard of our team and my goal is to always see what is happening next on our offense. I have led our team in assists and was second with points and rebounds. Defense is my favorite part of the game, leading my team in steals. As a scholar athlete goals are important to keep me working hard, put extra time and effort in and also push my teammates to be better. I see myself as a strong leader and someone my teammates can look to and trust. Some other qualities I feel I have are being supportive of my teammates, being very coachable and able to take criticism and pushing myself to be the best athlete I can be.
