Personal Statement

College ball has been my dream since I was little. I will be successful in life and I have always known basketball is a tool to make that happen. My height, 6'4", and size make me unstoppable at getting rebounds and inside shots; I live for the defensive blocks. I am a coachable multisport athlete who puts every second into getting better. I am a leader who lifts others up so they can do their best; I make my team my family and the court is my home. My team says I have the best hugs. My school is rigorous and has been preparing me well to be an outstanding collegiate student and athlete alike. I maintain a high GPA and make time for my second love, writing; I am a self published writer. I reward myself generously with timely studies so that I can be on the court practicing my shots and ball handling continuously, me and my brother.

  • My love for basketball started in 1st grade when I was asked to play on the 2nd grade boys basketball team for Cripple Creek Colorado. I continued to play basketball for the older teams up until my competitive school basketball started in 7th grade. I won the regional Parks and Recreation shootout competition in 2012 for all of Teller County Colorado grades 4-12 as a 6th grader.
