Taylor Molstad '15 Recruiting Profile

~~I am a junior at Stevens High School in Rapid City, SD competing at the highest level (AA) of competition in the state.  I have been playing basketball at the high school level for the past three years and have been a starting guard since my sophomore year.  I consider myself a team player that sees the floor very well, a good ball handler and a contributor to the team’s success both defensively and offensively.  While a shooting guard has been my main position, I also have the ability to post up inside against smaller forwards and score from different positions on the floor.
I have been a multi-sport athlete the past three years competing in varsity basketball, varsity volleyball and I was a state qualifier in high jump this past year.  I bring a 110% to each and every practice and I believe that when I set the standard my teammates will push themselves also which makes us all better individually and as a team making it a win-win situation. 
My academic goals are to pursue a career in physical therapy while I continue to compete at the collegiate level in basketball.  Having the opportunity to do this has been a dream of mine since I was young and I consider myself to be a goal setter, achiever and determined to make this dream of mine a reality.
