Lucie Hatcher '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Lucie Hatcher. Im a class of 2025 Power Forward at Morgantown High school. I didn’t start playing basketball until middle school but instantly fell in love with the sport. I love the competition and the game. I was an avid athlete who grew up playing a variety of sports. I could really feel a new type of passion for basketball. I quickly directed my focus on bettering myself as a player and learning more about the game. I play for my school as well as the WPA Bruins travel team. 

I grew up in an outdoor family. My family took countless trips rafting, kayaking, backpacking, biking, and skiing. The outdoors is part of who we are as a family. I value a team with a family dynamic. My teammates are important to me. Family is important to me. I want to find a college where I can pursue my academic goals as well as play the sport I love.
