Sarah Castaldi '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a rising junior at Villa Maria Academy, a private college prep school. I spent 11 years  in gymnastics rising to a Level 9. I was fanatical about gymnastics and loved the sport, but made a decision with my parents to leave the due to a serious injury. It was at that point that I decided that I would not let this setback hold me back from doing what I love, which is competing at a high level! I decided that I would pursue diving at my high school as a first sport, which I did last year. I fell in love with diving and qualified for states after my first year. I am entering into my second year in the sport and can not wait to get started. I also have been diving weekly at my local YMCA in order to stay fit for the season. My goal is to find a D1 or D2 school within a 4 hour drive from Philadelphia to compete in order to earn a spot on the dive team. I hope to talk to potential coaches soon!
