Rachel Bauhaus '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! Im Rachel Bauhaus I am a coxswain at Villa Maria Academy High School in Malvern PA. I’m in the graduation class of 2025 and I started rowing the fall season of my freshman year. Starting out rowing on a small growing team I have enjoyed every second of my rowing experience. The friendships, life lessons, and knowledge rowing has brought me, makes me passionate about continuing rowing at a higher level. Leadership is a huge part of being a coxswain. I show leadership everyday in my boats and to my teammates  which can help each of those to grow closer. Rowing has taught me how to work hard on and off the water everyday. My hard work is reflected in my academics and being in top boats at varsity level. Rowing is a team sport, being there for my teammates and improving together is something I have learned that helps make boats move faster. I am someone who can work with everyone and maintain a positive attitude all the time and I hope to incorporate these attributes into any team!
