2023 Highlights Personal Statement
I started golf around six years ago and quickly fell in love with the game that shapes my life. I strive to build upon the knowledge that has been given to me by my coaches, my teammates and my family. I find that the more I dive into this complicated game the more I learn and want to continue my journey.
Succeeding as a student is equally important to me. I love challenging myself with harder curriculums, and find myself enjoying the challenges that come with a more advanced environment.
I love art and have made a portfolio in AP 2-D design that represents my love for different mediums and discovering magic.
Each of these passions require me to be dedicated, hard working, and responsible with how I use my time.
I hope to become the best I can be and never stop improving both myself as a person, and as an aspiring golfer. Although golf is an individual sport, I have always gravitated towards the camaraderie of the team aspects of the game. I hope to improve alongside a team that pushes each other, in helping us become the best we can be.
