Hailey Lopez '28 Recruiting Profile

I have spent my entire life living in Southern California, where I was raised for the first seven years by my mother. I learned early on the critical balance between education and athletics. My family has instilled in me the values of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of excelling both in the classroom and on the field. I believe that success is not just about winning, but about maintaining integrity and putting in the effort to be the best version of myself in all areas of life. 

Golf has been a part of my life since the day I was born. I was swinging a club from the day I could walk, and I started playing competitively when I was seven years old. I currently play for La Serna High School Varsity Golf team, as a Freshman. On the weekends I am still very active with SCGA, SCPGA, AJGA and US Kids junior golf organizations. I am very excited about my current opportunity to be a part of a team, in a sport that is typically focused on the individual. 

Today, I am so fortunate to be part of an amazing blended family that continues to support my dreams and ambitions. As I look ahead to the next chapter of my life, I am focused on finding a school that aligns with both my academic goals and my passion for golf. I want to be in an environment that challenges me intellectually while also providing the opportunities I need to advance my skills on the course. This balance is crucial to my growth, and I am committed to finding the right place where I can continue to thrive in both academics and athletics.
