Monet Baker '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Monet Baker, (C/O 2022) (PG,SG) (5’7). I am currently a senior at La Serna High School in Whittier, California. I am the starting Point Guard for La Serna’s Girls Varsity Basketball team as well as a student-athlete who takes Honors and AP courses at my school with a GPA of 3.7. I also plan to Major in Business and pursue a career in Healthcare Management. I've been searching for colleges and have been seeking exposure from the right sources. Furthermore, I hope to continue and complete my recruiting journey and settle at a school that has my right athletic and academic needs.

I plan on playing at the next level and believe that with my talent, skill, and aspirations, I will be able to showcase my talent as a college athlete. I have high standards set for myself, am always striving to get better and never stop working hard, and admit my faults and mistakes. I show leadership on and off the court along with being a coachable player.

It’s been a dream of mine to become a collegiate athlete since I was a young girl and playing at the next level is a big dream of mine. I hope to potentially receive an opportunity to continue my basketball journey and commit to a school where I am able to thrive not only academically but athletically as well. I hope to become a key piece of a great team!
