Barbara A. Wilson '12 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 5'4" Junior golfer from East Lyme, CT. In additon to playing golf for my High School, I have been competing in the CTPGA Junior golf tournaments for the past 3 years. I began playing golf when I was 8 years old. I enjoy the competition and meeting new people. I'm looking for a college that has a great golf program (Division I or II) and a Dental School so I can pursue my dreams of becoming an orthodontist while continuing to play golf competitively. My preference is to attend a college in Michigan (e.g. Ferris State University, Oakland University, or The University of Michigan), Georgia, North or South Carolina but I am open to attending college in other areas that match up with my long term goals for college. I am interested in being close to family and/or in a Christian environment that is why I am looking at colleges in the States I listed but I will keep my options open. I would prefer an environment where I can interact with my teachers and recieve personal attention in the classroom. I'm also interested in attending a school that embraces diversity.
