2023 Highlights Personal Statement
My goals for college are to play 4 years of competitive golf, and to graduate with both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. I didn’t play competitive golf until age 14. I went from shooting in the 100s at age 13 to getting my scoring average under 80 this past summer, over the course of 3 years. I also recently found an instructor with the availability to give me lessons on a regular basis to improve my fundamentals. In high school I’ve also played on the boys team every season so I’m familiar with longer courses. Academically, I’m on track to graduate with enough college credit hours for an associates degree.
