Going into my senior year, I have been a part of the varsity basketball and golf team as well as the jv softball team. Of these sports, I have found my greatest passion in golf. This year we had won our national conference for the first time in school history and during that I had also shot my career low of an 87. Our team went undefeated in the regular season and 11-1 overall. My goal is to play collegiate golf and study business. I believe I am a good candidate because I have been able to not only be fully dedicated to these sports throughout my high school career, but I have been able to maintain a 3.0 GPA. I feel I am different from other recruits because I have been able to be a part of a state championship basketball team. Through that experience, I have been able to experience what dedication truly means. Dedication requires practice, persistence, pushing not only yourself but your teammates, and staying focused on the team's goals. This goes for academics as well. You can't be a successful student athlete without putting the same amount of work into both athletics and academics. Other than sports I am also involved in clubs such as huddle, Lions Club, Key Club, and yearbook. I also am 1 of 6 children and I think that helps me a lot to be very competitive!
