I became interested in soccer at six years old when my sister played for the local recreational league. I found excitement in scoring and being a member of a team. I played for the local recreational and club leagues for many years until I joined Liberty in 2020. I am a tough, steadfast, well-rounded player and I have learned to mentally and physically persevere through even the difficult games by not overthinking and just performing. Adapting to changing team dynamics and recognizing the strategies of my opposition are things at which I excel. I have a positive attitude and I am a leader and confidant to my teammates. Throughout the years, I have become a versatile player. I have played several offensive and defensive positions, primarily forward, but, most recently, I have been playing outside midfielder. At this time, that is where I am needed on my team and being a team player is something I value.
In the summer of my eighth-grade year I was invited to play with the U16-17 team in the Super Y League. The invitation I received from Liberty to be a part of the Super Y League in 2021 greatly impacted my experience with soccer by challenging me to improve my skills so that I could meaningfully contribute to the team. After a successful summer season, we made it to the 2021 Super Y League North American Finals in Tampa Bay, Florida. We faced even tougher competitors in the tournament yet we advanced to the semi finals.
My educational goals in high school include receiving an Honors diploma and becoming proficient in Spanish. I am interested in studying Aviation in college to work toward my goal of being a fighter pilot.
