Clarissa Long '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Clarissa Long; and I live in Altoona, PA. I’ve only been playing golf for 3 1/2 years; but, in that time, I’m happy to have experienced many “firsts”. I am proud to have been a golfer on the first all girl’s golf team at Altoona Area High School, and to have seen my name in the paper – most recently for having shot my personal best (43) on 9 holes. I’m a three-time District VI golf qualifier – having placed 6^th and 8^th in the last two years.

I truly love golf.  It’s a game of patience and thoughtfulness that has helped me to slow down and be more deliberate in all aspects of my life. I’d love to be able to continue developing my golf game and compete while I receive a quality education during my college years, with an eye on experiencing many more firsts to come.
