Personal Statement
The idea of competing at a collegiate level and being able to represent a university by doing something I have a passion for has always been a deep aspiration of mine. I aspire to do everything to the best of my ability in order to become a better golfer, in order to better a collegiate program, and in order to ultimately be surrounded in an environment that allows me to build my character and mold myself into what God has intended me to do with my talents. I aspire not just to be a golfer at the collegiate level, but to be a person with perseverance, honesty, and character. Through the process of being a college athlete, I expect myself to maintain my grades at a high standard and become a functional student the days I will be obligated to the sport I love. I will not only work hard on the course, but I will strive to work hard in the classroom. To play college golf is an honor and aspiration of mine as a whole, but getting a great education at a university is also key to better my future. I am a good candidate for your team because I will work and better myself both academically and athletically in order to perform at a high standard that will benefit your program.
