Ian Carter '18 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to compete in track at a high level, and to always put out my best effort no matter the occasion. I'm a good candidate for your team because I never quit. I rise to the challenges and I love the feeling and intensity of a good challenge. I am different from other recruits in academics and athletics because of my strong determination and will to never give up on my goals. I have a strong will to always do the best at what I do. If I know I'm not where I used to be or want to be I will work and study till I get there!  I have faced many obstacles in my life stemming from a broken family, poor living conditions , and unstable environment. Through these obstacles being successful and working hard on the track, football field and in the classroom has always been a priority in my life. I want to compete in college track to not only be a competitive athlete and asset to your team, but also be the first in my family to graduate from college and earn a college degree.
