Personal Statement
My goal in life s to have no "what ifs". Right now, and as far back as I can remember, hockey is one of my favorite parts of life. At three years old I never dreamed of playing hockey in college- just to play forever. As I have gotten older, I am realizing college hockey as an opportunity I would like to work toward.
Student coaching, mentoring, and volunteering along with being raised catholic has shaped me into an understanding and caring individual. My parents were able to give me oportunitys in sports and academics that I took advantage of. I train all summer, and skate as much as i can, I've taken rigorus course work, includingAP chem and AP calculus and honors classes.
My mentality about everythiNg is to never give up and always work harder.
"Persistence can change failure into extraordinary achievement" - Marv Levy and "I could not, at any age, be content to take my place by the fireside and simply look on. Life was meant to be lived" - Eleanor Roosevelt are two quotes, that to me, are defining of the purpose of life.
