Hello, my name is Piper Thomas. I am a 16-year-old from St.Louis, Mo. I would like to play D2 or higher college hockey. I am a left wing but, love to try new potions and am comfortable anywhere on the ice. My story started when my dad put me on the ice around 3 years old and I started playing hockey at age 5, I have played for 11 years. I am constantly working on my shot at home, and I like to go to stick n pucks and work on my skills when I am not practicing with my team. I am constantly working hard to better my hockey skills. Hockey, academics, and family/friends are my top priorities. Playing college hockey has been my dream since 5th grade when I got to watch the women's frozen four in 2018, that is when I knew I wanted to play in college and perhaps after college as well. This year academics is a huge priority to me. I had a very hard time freshman year with academics. After covid happened and we moved to on-line school, it was very hard for me to learn, so when I entered high school I didn't understand much and it took a toll on my grades. That is why I am working as hard as can, and focusing on my academics just as much as I focus on hockey so I can be the best me that I can. I am so glad to have such supportive teammates and coaches over the years to have helped me get better as a player, teammate, and person.
