Alexis Riley '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been active in sports since I was 3 years old. I’ve done dance, gymnastics, softball, soccer, tennis and flag football but hockey is where my heart is at. It has taught me how to be a team player, how to win, how to lose, and given me lifelong friendships. I am hopeful that I will have the opportunity to continue to play in college while pursuing my education to get the most of my college experience.

I am a student-athlete that is dedicated both academically and athletically. I work hard in school maintaining a 3.5 GPA and currently taking some Honors and AP classes. I played last season with the New Jersey Colonials 19U AA and have been the starting goalie for the Montville Township High School Boys Varsity team since my sophomore year.  I currently have a .928 SV% and 1.6 GAA over 23 full games played, received all-conference honorable mention, defensive player of the year for 2 years in a row and recently attended the AAHA Girls Development Camp. This year I join the NJ Bandits 19U Elite team where I plan to outperform last year’s stats and help bring the team to Nationals.

My best attributes are my ability to remain calm under pressure and when things are not going my way, remain focused. I am patient on breakaways, and the ultimate competitor when the game is on the line.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the ice. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
