Hanna Weinman '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Hanna Weinman and I am a student-athlete from Taos, New Mexico. The first time I stepped on the ice was when I was 5 years old and ever since then, I have put in the work to become the strongest player I can be. I want to play college hockey because I love being competitive and being on the ice. I also want to be a role model for the younger girls in my town, to show that hockey can go on past the high school level. As a player, I am very competitive and dynamic on the ice. I play smart while also being aggressive, proactive, and a helpful teammate.

On top of that, academics are essential to me. I take as many dual enrollment and honors classes at the highest levels as I can. For example, during the 2nd semester of my junior year, I took multivariable differential calculus with Stanford. In college, I want to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering, continue learning new concepts, and challenge myself academically as well as athletically.
