Personal Statement
My name is Paige Zimiga and I will graduate in 2025. I started competitively figure skating when I was six and quickly realized I wanted to be a part of a team. This desire, and my love for skating, led me to join my hometown hockey team and later my statewide national bound select team. Through these programs, my love for hockey continued to grow. As I started thinking about my future, I came to the realization that I won't be ready to stop playing after high school, in fact I don't know if I ever will be. I decided to start pursuing college options because I believe in excellence and pushing oneself to be the best they can be. I think that if given the chance, I will continue to grow as a player and also get to continue playing the sport I love with people who have the same mindset as me.
