I’m Heaven, I’m 14 and I've been playing hockey for 8 years. I've been a goalie for 5 years and a player for 3 but my passion is being goalie. I got 8 shutouts during my season this year. I love how aggressive and competitive hockey is, and the friends you can make from hockey. Hockey’s not the only sport I'm competitive in, I’m competitive in softball and field hockey. This season in hockey a S.A.S.A girl tried to score on me and when she shot I stopped it but she didn't stop skating so I flipped her like a pancake, not gonna lie it was really funny. My mom signed me up for hockey back in 2015, my first practice didn't go so well and I really wanted to quit but my mom didn't let me. I can’t thank her enough for it because now I've won a lot of awards and made friends I will never forget along with coaches, teammates, and memories good and bad, but in the end, it's all worth it because now I get to start high-school with being a champion. Winning the witney award back in 2021. Thanks to Brenden I had the best season ever this and last year. Thanks to my team and coaches the coach who improved me the most was Corey and I can’t thank her enough for it.
That's why I play hockey.
