I've been playing ice hockey for 8 years ever since my cousin suggested to start playing. One step on that ice and I knew this was the sport I was going to love and want to do for a long time. At the age of 9 I started out playing house league hockey and 3 seasons later I landed myself on the Girl U16 Tier II team. Following that season I made the U19 Girls Tier II team that I have been calling family for 4 years now.
Last season my team and I attended the 2017 Girls USA Hockey Nationals and ended up finishing 8th. Something which I will never forget and hope to repeat in the 2018-19 season. Since the start, I've learned the principles of team work, determination, strength, fun, and love for the game. I am looking for a college or university that meets my athletic and more importantly my academic needs. Academically I would love to go in to the forensics field and minor in some type of psychology. After 17 years of determination to grow as an athlete I am positive that wherever I go I will push myself and my teammates to be the best we possibly can be and leave everything on the ice after every practice and game.
