Alyssa Biteman '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Alyssa Biteman and I’m a 2028 graduate from Parkman, Wyoming. I am a right-handed shot and play both RD and RW. I am a leader on and off the ice. My strengths on the ice include being a solid two-way player, not afraid of contact and creating traffic in front of the net when I’m playing forward or clearing out the front of the net when playing defense, I have a hard shot that keeps improving, positioning/angling, getting open, passing, and getting shots on net from the point. Some unique characteristics of me are my strong hockey IQ, I perform well under pressure, very coachable and always eager to improve, I am humble and kind, encouraging to my teammates, and always trying to be the best person I can be. I enjoy helping others and I am also a USA Hockey Level 2 referee so I can give back to the sport of hockey when I’m not playing.  

Currently, I play for the following teams: Team Wyoming Girls 14U AA (Nationals Bound) travel team, Sheridan Hawks Girls 19U (my home association), and the Sheridan Hawks Bantam 14U. My home association (Sheridan Hawks) plays in the Wyoming Amateur Hockey League. Team Wyoming plays in tournaments throughout the US, mostly on holiday weekends, and hope to compete at nationals again in Sioux Falls, SD in March of 2024. 

I am looking for a college/university that will challenge me academically as well as allow me to keep playing the sport I love and have played since I was little. The subject areas that I am most interested in studying in college are Law, Aerospace, Astronomy, Interior Design, Political Science, and Real Estate.
