My name is Hannah Fofonoff and I am a lacrosse player with past years of experience in box lacrosse and recently started development on the field side. I have always been a multi-sport athlete in several other sports including Elite girls hockey, volleyball and track & field. I have recently quit hockey to focus year-round on lacrosse, to continue to fine-tune my skills with box and continue to grow with field. I am in the graduating class of 2023, and my primary position is on the defensive side of the floor, but also have the skills to play both sides of the field. I have been playing box lacrosse for the past 8 years. I am highly interested in pursuing my academic and lacrosse experience with an NCAA school.
My involvement with box lacrosse has strengthened my interest in the potential of post-secondary opportunities with field lacrosse. I describe myself as a hard worker, a good teammate, a skilled player, and an aggressive defender in field lacrosse using the abilities I developed from box. I understand that playing in college is an experience once in a lifetime that will use my entire life. I have a high Lacrosse IQ and always hustle until the final buzzer. I am a team player and strive to lead by example while supporting my teammates. I am well prepared and I aspire to be one of the best working athletes day in and day out. I work hard in the classroom and achieve a good GPA. I am interested to attend a school where I can challenge myself in the classroom as well as on the field. I am open to all possibilities and ideally want to find the right college at the highest level of competition while pursuing my academic goals. To all my family, coach's & teammates, I aspire to become an aspiring role model and be successful to the highest degree.
