I come from a lacrosse oriented family. I was born in Virginia where I started playing on a 6th grade lacrosse team while in 2nd grade. We moved to Kansas my third grade year and was disappointed there wasn't any youth lacrosse in the area. However, there was a high school club team in the area, coached by Cory Samaras. I practiced with the high school team for several years until a youth league started up my eighth grade year. Since then, more high school teams have been established in the Kansas City area. I have started on my high school varsity team since my freshman year and was captain all four years. Two of my greatest strengths, that I can contribute to a team, are my diligent and hard working attitude and my leadership abilities. I work on things relentlessly until I get them right and believe in doing everything to the best of my abilities. As for leadership, I have been team captain of my varsity high school lacrosse team all four years of high school. I was also captain of multiple other teams including my school basketball team and premier club soccer team. I can offer a team not only leadership on the field, but off the field. Being a leader is not only about leading directly, but also indirectly through words and actions. My preference of geographical location for colleges would be primarily on the East Coast, but I am also open to attending college in Colorado. The type of schools I am most interested in are those that offer D1 or D3 level competition with fairly high academics. The size of the school is not a factor and I would be open to attending a Christian University. My collegiate goals would be to play as a freshman, to play at the highest competition level that I am capable while still being challenged as both an individual and a teammate. Also, to have the opportunity to impact and influence my team on and off the field.
