There are two main things that you need to know about me. Number one, I will always be the hardest worker in the room. It does not matter what I am doing I will give 110% 24/7. This 2022 season, I began my freshman year as a swinger. I played valuable minutes on both JV and varsity teams. Within 4 games, I had worked my way to becoming a full varsity player, earning more minutes as the season progressed. As the season went on I earned a starting position. Through grit and hard work, I reached my goal, of playing varsity, at one of the top lacrosse high schools in the state of Maine. Where we went 13-2 losing in the Southern Maine Regional final. I will continue my hard work, as I enter the next season. I will never settle for anything, I will continue striving to be the best I can be in my next 3 years of high school, and most importantly beyond that.
My hard work does not stop on the lacrosse field. In my freshman year, I also played varsity field hockey and basketball. All while maintaining a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. I put the utmost value into my school work, once again striving to be the best that I can be. All my life I have never settled for anything below above average, especially in the classroom. And I never plan on changing that.
The second thing is that you will never find anyone more passionate about lacrosse than me. As long as I have a lacrosse stick in my hand, I will be happy and doing what I love most. It doesn't matter if I am in my backyard, playing pass with my family; in my bedroom fiddling around with stick tricks; playing in a championship game; playing in the rain or 100-degree weather; bringing a ball bag down to the field and getting shots in; or watching NCAA games on my tv, I will be smiling ear to ear. I had the opportunity to coach the girl's youth lacrosse program for my district, nothing gave me more joy than watching those young girls fall in love with the game the exact same way that I did. My love for the game started at 7 years old, and ever since then, my passion for the game has only grown more and more. Especially as I embrace myself in the sport as much as possible.
My hard work ethic and my passion for the game complement each other in the best way possible. I will always work hard at what I do, and when I am passionate about what I am doing, there is nothing that can get in the way of me reaching any goal that I set.
