Sloan Hubbard '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I'm Sloan. I play for the TLC 2026 Red team and the varsity women's lacrosse team for Concordia Prep. I am a strong left-handed attacker, though I can use my right hand with ease. I have a great drive from behind cage, as well as a strong understanding of the art of the two-man game. During my freshman year, Coach Stefanelli encouraged me to work on playing midfield, so I joined the cross-country team to increase my endurance. I have become a strong midfield option, being able to play defense anywhere on the field. My knowledge of offense has transitioned well in the redefend position. I have valued my work ethic, determination, and perseverance throughout my lacrosse career. I am a coachable and respectful player, who appreciates honest feedback so I can go home to work on my weaknesses. I constantly motivate my teammates to work hard so we can compete hard. Academically I am enrolled in four honors classes, and as a freshman received a PSAT score of 1210. My extracurriculars include cross country, box lacrosse, and choir. As for colleges, I am looking for a school that will challenge me not only rigorously academically, but as a person and a player while still being able to provide me with the ideal college experience. I never want to lose sight of my passion behind the game of lacrosse: to have fun and continue to grow.
