I am a two sport student athlete and it is my desire to be a college goal keeper. In my Sophomore high school season I had 202 saves in 17 games (11.88 saves per game). I take both my athletics (nutrition, training, and learning) and academics very seriously. I received Magna Cum Laude honors as a freshman and as a sophomore (GPA for Sophomore year is a 3.9571). In addition, I was the Sophomore Class President and currently the Junior Class President for 2019-2020. I have played for Triumph Lacrosse Club for the past 5 years and have also played for Monarch (MI) and MC Elite Carolina (MD). I consider myself to be a leader, as I am not afraid to stand out and take charge of a situation. I believe that I was able to develop some of my leadership skills through being a goalkeeper. I believe the goalie is the leader on defense and I am working to grow as a better defender, as well as, how to help the offense with a better transition on the field. I am a student of my position and hope to grow and learn at the collegiate level. As my father has always told me, "play your game;" meaning that I can only control the controllable i.e. myself and not to worry about the field players. I balance this concept with being a team leader on defense. It is my "goal" to immerse myself into the college and team that I play for at the next level.
