Jorja Schooler '20 Recruiting Profile

I am dedicated to playing lacrosse in college while also being a strong student. I have worked really hard through my high school career, and intend to continue working hard on and off the field in college. My relationships with my teammates and coaches are very strong, and I frequently have been told that I'm very coachable, a hard worker and have a positive attitude.

I've been playing lacrosse for nine years, and am captain of my lacrosse team as a junior, as well as my hockey team this upcoming senior season. I am very dedicated to lacrosse, and won the award for hardest worker on my varsity lacrosse team last season. I was voted player of the week on mnlaxhub and was awarded MVP mnprepspotlight this season. I was also nominated to play in the Midwest Girls Showcase on July 25 at Olympic Park in Schaumberg, IL, and will be playing in the showcase. In addition to athletics, I am also strong in my academics with a current GPA of 3.6. As well as playing varsity hockey and lacrosse, I am also involved in leadership based activities at my school, including Circle of Friends (mentoring and friendship activities with special needs students) and Hound Pack (welcoming and mentoring underclassman throughout the year).  I also work part-time in a restaurant.
