Personal Statement
I did not start playing lacrosse until middle school, but as I grew to learn and love the game in high school I realized it was something I wanted continue throughout my life. I have been involved in athletics from a very young age. As I have gotten older, not only have I continued a multi-sport lifestyle, but I have also learned to balance academics, family, friends, and my other interests. From sports to school, I am dedicated, passionate, and all in with everything I do. As a collegiate athlete, I will bring natural leadership, grit, passion, humility, and intensity to your program. Grit is one of my strongest characteristics that I believe sets me apart from other players and recruits. I have faced adversity and persevered, which has allowed me to be successful in many aspects of my life.
As a student athlete in your program, I will bring competitiveness, grit, and hard work, not only to play to the best of my ability, but also to achieve my goals academically, as I have been able to do in high school with a 4.1 GPA while enrolled in AP classes. I want to attend college in order to not only gain a higher education, but to also continue to grow my knowledge and love of the game of lacrosse.
