My name is Michaela Tricola and I am looking to further my athletic and academic goals by playing women's lacrosse in college. I am an extremely hard worker on and off the field and I display great leadership as well as a good work ethic. I am always looking to challenge myself academically and athletically, as I do take advanced placement and honors classes in high school. I am always looking for the competitive edge to make me a better player and I do this by participating in a number of sports. I take part in my high school's girls soccer team and winter track team. As for lacrosse, I made varsity my freshmen year and became a starter on the defensive line up. I have been a starter ever since freshmen year and last year I was named to Second Team All-League in Northern New Jersey and this year I have also received All-League honors as well All-Conference honors. I also have experience playing club lacrosse at a high level as well, playing teams from all over the nation. I have attended Parisi Speed School to make me a faster and stronger player on the lacrosse field. Playing sweeper, the last defender on the field in soccer has greatly improved my ability, footwork and technique for playing lacrosse. I know that I will be able to give 110% playing college lacrosse, because if my mind is set on it, I will make sure it is achieved.
Also, I'm really looking to challenge myself in college and would love to keep all my options open. I would prefer staying on the East Coast, but anything a little further would be okay too.
