Bella Carberry '19 Recruiting Profile

Lacrosse has been the sport I'm most passionate about since I was 8 years old.  From the time I put a stick in my hand I knew I was going to take this sport well into my future!

I was elevated quickly in our school program, being put on the JV team at 12 years old and Varsity the following year in 8th grade in a class A district.  But it really wasn't until I made an elite travel team out of Rochester, N.Y.  last summer that I got to see what I was made of as a player.  The states we went to and the teams we prevailed over, showed me individually, what I bring to the table at attack for the right college team!  Playing up at an early age forced me into an athletic maturity and a mindset of 'meeting the challenge' and rising above and beyond, always.  

I've come to thrive under pressure, with great challenges and in the midst of fierce competition.  This ability has served me well academically, as I am certain to complete high school with high honors.   I am creating a portfolio of all my artwork to pursue an undergraduate degree in fine arts and design in college.   I am excited to bring my focus, work ethic and leadership to very dynamic college lacrosse team at a university that has a wonderful art program.
