I strive to be academically driven and challenge myself by taking honors and AP classes throughout school. Lacrosse has been a huge part in my life and something that's not only brought me joy but helps me strive to do my best despite surrounding circumstances. I've been playing the sport since 2nd grade for a total of 9 years and have playing experience in every position but enjoy and find myself playing defense the most. The sport has not only helped me grow as an athlete but also as a person teaching me how to deal with even tough situations. In my Sophmore year I tore my ACL and meniscus in a game that ended the season for me, my injury gave me another perspective of the game and encourages me to work even harder to get back to playing with hopes that by overcoming this obstacle I'll come back a stronger player then before. My hopes are to play lacrosse in college and after to pursue a career in teaching physical education at the elementary school level.
