As I student athlete I really try to push myself in both athletics and academics. A good balance of the two is very important to me. I strive to be both a leader on and off the field for my team mates as well as in the classroom. To me it is important for underclassman to have a positive role model to look up to and go to for advice as they begin their journey as a student athlete for the first time. As my junior year begins, my role as a leader is becoming more important as I help my high school team build chemistry for the upcoming season. At the collegiate level I would like to find a school that will allow me to play lacrosse because I love the sport and the atmosphere the team brings, yet also pushes me academically to do my best.
