Alice Frascella '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Alice Frascella currently in my Junior year at Staples High School in Westport, CT. I have been rowing at Saugatuck Rowing Club competitively for three years. I started to get into rowing at a learn to row summer camp I attended in middle school and was instantly hooked. 

I am naturally motivated to meet personal goals, but thrive in the team environment at SRC where the rigorous workouts and training help keep me focused and determined to grow as an athlete and to contribute as a teammate. I enjoy pushing myself past my limits and working hard to achieve my goals as an athlete. I attribute my accomplishments both academically and athletically in large part to my experience as a rower. Setting goals and pushing the bar higher is motivation I carry through everyday life.  

I have a strong work ethic academically as well and am starting to explore possible areas of study to focus on in college. As an editor of the school newspaper, I enjoy learning about and sharing events in my community. I am an active member of the National Charity League for my town's chapter and am a current VP of Culture where my volunteering focus will be to expand outreach to my broader community. I enjoy making a positive impact in my community and connecting with others who have common interests.
