I am a junior at Rivers Academy in metro Atlanta, Georgia. I am a focused student with a strong work ethic both inside and outside the classroom. All of the classes at my school are honors/accelerated and our teaching is compressed to three in-class days a week so we can focus on our passions and sports outside of school. Our school requires extreme time management and ability to self-advocate - both skills that help me in my daily life.
While I have been an equestrian for many years, I have picked up rowing this year and plan to row in college. My years as an equestrian helped me learn self- disciple, focus and tenacity to endure the ups and downs that come with highly competitive sports. This has translated into my focus and discipline with building my rowing skills. I am highly trainable and am able to accept and apply corrections quickly. I enjoy the camaraderie of being on a team and get along well with others. I look forward to my upcoming regattas and building on the skills I have been developing at Saint Andrew Rowing!
