I started rowing as a freshman in high school, and ever since then, I knew I wanted to continue with this sport throughout college. Rowing has given me an amazing opportunity to push myself physically and mentally, and after every practice, I feel accomplished and ready to row again the next day.
I believe that I am a great fit to row at the university level because I can adapt to new techniques quickly, I am easily coachable, and I want to push myself harder every day. By the end of high school, I would like to have found my perfect match in collegiate rowing, and am excited to learn about what's out in the world. I want to inspire my family, friends, and peers and show them to stay true to something that they like, no matter how difficult it gets.
