Hello!
My name is Madison “Maddie” Bell and I cannot remember many fall/spring weekends that weren’t spent at the soccer field!
I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I love the game and I plan to play in college.
My dream is to go to an Ivy school. I know it will take a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication but that is what I’m known most for in my class and in sports. I work hard and don’t give up when there’s something that I really want to achieve. I play to the end and don’t let up on the intensity level.
I am an A student at Briarwood Christian High School. I am very involved in school activities and take all honors classes. To date, I have concentrated on my two passions in school– Soccer & the Arts. I am also active in four extracurricular clubs (e.g. VP in Digital Arts Club, Secretary of Gamer Club, Chess Club and Writing club).
I have played competitive soccer for the past 9 years. I started competitive soccer at Briarwood Soccer Club on the state U10 team when I was 8/9 years old. I have played at all levels in the competitive space: Alabama State League, Southeastern Clubs Champions League (SCCL is a topflight league formed by major clubs across the Southeast), and the National Premier Leagues (NPL which is a national competition platform). Over the past 3 years, I have had the awesome opportunity to be an assistant coach for the little kids, U6/U8/U10 soccer teams for Briarwood Soccer It reinforced just how much I love the game of soccer and I loved being able to share my knowledge/love of the game with the kids.
I have played Varsity Soccer since the eighth grade. I have played a variety of positions from forward, to mid to defense - my coach starts me primarily at left forward and is transitioning me into a midfielder role this season.

- 2020 HVS - Hoover Vestavia Soccer Club (NPL)
- This is the first year for the new combined club of Hoover & Vestavia (HVS) with a new overall club director, Mike Getman. HVS competed in the new South Central Region of the NPL National League. Prior to this year, I played for VHSC (Vestavia Hills Soccer Club) for 2 years on the top club (D1) team. We played in the Southeastern Championship Club League (SCCL).

- Moved from Briarwood Soccer Club to Vestavia Soccer Club - Starter @Left Wing. I was the youngest player on the team.
