Madelyn Hunt '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches! I have played and loved the game of tennis since I was five. After playing many sports throughout my childhood and early high school, I realized the passion I have for the game was unmatched by any other sport I have played. Focusing on my tennis career has been a great way for me to truly focus on my goals for this sport. I aspire to play in college and plan to study finance or sports medicine. Playing in college is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I am very excited to be a part of. 

My strongest shot is my forehead. I can direct and change the pace of a point with it. I am very coachable and love receiving feedback on my game! I love encouraging my teammates and building them up during their matches. I strive to impress many with my game but also my positive attitude. I enjoy the confidence I gain when I walk on the court.

In the classroom, I work very hard. School is my main priority, and I truly enjoy excelling in the classroom. My GPA is 4.35, and I currently take honors classes and dual enrollment classes with the local college. I am a part of the Student Government, the National Spanish Honors Society, and a service club, Key Club. Also, I am a part of the yearbook staff at my school. I love being involved in any activity my school or sport has to offer. Meeting new people is something I love! I am excited about college because it will allow me to meet new people and be involved and challenge me in new things!

I want to attend a college where my studies will push me but also pay off. Playing tennis in college will make every dream and goal I have set for myself come true. I want my journey of playing college tennis to be fun, but also a time where I can make my family proud. I am very grateful for all the time, money, and effort they have provided me, so I can make my dreams come true!
