Personal Statement
“Fussball” is what my family calls it. I am a first generation American. My parents originated from Germany and thus I am bilingual. I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember and wouldn’t want to play anything else. I play as a center defender, but also have experience playing as a center midfielder. When I was in my Freshman year of school I had already made the Varsity team and ended up lettering at the end of the season. Over the summer I worked to improve my skills with the ball and also played against the boys to challenge myself to be better. My Sophomore year I made starting Varsity. My hard work had paid off. This year is my sophomore year and it is looking very successful. I strive to be the best I can and to help my team make it to state in anyway possible.
As for my school work; School is very important to me as are my grades. My grades are all straight A’s and I have a 4.0 GPA (I plan to keep it that way). I am in all the honors classes and have signed up for the AP classes I will be able to take next year. I am very dedicated to my work, both at home and in school. Outside of school I have a regular job and raise livestock through the 4-H Club, of which I have been elected President. Overall, I fulfill all my duties to the best of my ability and constantly strive to be better.
