Ever since I was a little girl all I wanted to do was become a professional soccer player. I put in my all to be the best player I could ever be and will do whatever it takes to get to that point. However, to get to that point does not just take pure skill it takes dedication and time. I have played for ten years and still have not fallen out of love with the sport. There was a moment in time when I had doubts that soccer was everything to me so I took a break. During my break I soon realized that soccer was my everything and I could not live without it. Soccer allows me to get away from all my problems for that short amount of time on the field. I strive to lead my team all the way to the top and when times get hard I will be there to push through with them as a team. I don't believe that only one player can make a difference in a game and as the captain of my team I will never let my team feel the way I did for that short period of time. Growing up I have learned that you can't take shortcuts to get to the top. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA in middle school and will continue to do all that I can to continue that streak in high school and college. Therefore, I believe that I am a great candidate for any team because I will do whatever it takes on my behalf to be the last one standing on the field and be the captain that I need to be.
