I am a junior at Rincon High School and I began playing softball my freshman year. Although it was hard picking up such a complex sport at a later age I strived to achieve greatness as I do in all my other sports. Playing volleyball has given me the agility and Soccer has given me my scrappiness in the game of Softball. I’m constantly aiming to better myself with my at bats and field stats. Due to my late entry to the game I’ve played many positions such as: left field, center field, 3rd base, 2nd base, and now primarily shortstop. I’m always intrigued to see the field from a different position and eager to do my best every time I step on the field. I love cheering on my teammates and going through learning curves together. In the short time I’ve been playing Softball my curiosity of the game led me to lefty slappers. I’ve began hitting left handed for power and I hope to gain the skill of slapping as well.
