Shania Walters '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shania Walters and I play for the FC Tucson 06 black team as a center back. I am a senior at Cienega High School in Tucson, Arizona and a defender for the varsity soccer team. My current GPA is a 4.0 When looking for a college I plan on going somewhere that supports my interest in soccer and wanting a future career path in the medical field. Finding a college that suits me is very important. I would consider myself very determined and passionate in the things I do, whether that be on or off the field. My humorous personality and my ability to care is what I believe sets me apart from others. Having those characteristics in a player and teammate can be immensely valuable. As my coach always says, as a player “You want to have a kind of swag to you when you're on the field.” I can definitely say as a defensive player, I take pride in making good tackles or showing up a forward on a 1v1. I am not committed to a college yet, but there are some that have caught my attention. I am very open to any suggestions.
