Sydney Williams '22 Recruiting Profile

I love playing soccer. I started playing at the age of 5 and my love for the game has evolved to the point where I find that I love the game even more. This love of the game has produced results on the field. I was awarded with the Newcomer of the year award and Arkansas All State 2nd Team Offensive player as a freshman playing for my high school varsity team. I proactively seek an increasingly competitive atmosphere, outside of my club and school teams, to sharpen my skills. I can adapt to others’ playing styles and I am open to play any position that the coach wants to put me in. I have the speed to cover my teammates and more importantly, I am coachable. I seek out opportunities to learn new skills and incorporate them into my game. 

As for the college or university I would like to attend, I would prefer a fairly large school so that I have the option to experience different career paths. I plan to major in biology or pre-med/nursing. I am looking for a good mix for sports and academics that can provide a good balance for me and I really want to make a contribution to my future team and school community.
