I am a 5’9” outside back and center back from Frankfort, Illinois and have been playing soccer my whole life. To me, soccer exceeds any other sport. You have to be a good team player, athlete/runner, think on your feet and be ready to take on your opponent at a moments notice. The game is fast paced and exhilarating! This year I decided to leave my soccer teammates of over 7 years to try out for a more competitive team. This was a very hard decision because they were not only my teammates, but my friends. Not only is soccer important to me, but so is my community. Last year my community service team won 1st at State and 8th in the Nation for our community service project raising over $6,400 to donate to the Illinois USO in honor of a former Lincoln-Way student that died while serving our country. This year our goal is to raise over $20,000 to donate to the American Heart Association in honor of another student that passed away due to an undetected heart condition. I try to excel in all aspects of my life. While playing competitively with soccer, I also maintain high honor roll with honors courses. I am going to be a good asset to a college team in the near future. I know this because I am looking forward to learning more this year with my new team and ODP opportunities.
