Nikolette Weiss '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Nikolette Weiss and I am a 2024 Graduate at Nazareth Academy in LaGrange IL. I started on varsity as a freshman and am currently a starter on varsity as a sophomore.  I have made big contributions to the team, never playing less than 60/80 minutes. I joined the LaGrange Celtics at 10 years old  and have played there ever since. I am currently on their 2006 girls XI team, and I am a captain.  The past two years we have qualified for the National Premier League finals in Denver, Colorado. 

The thing about my self that I value most is my hard work ethic. I am very determined and never give up. Even if my team was losing I am always uplifting other and leading by example to try my absolute hardest.   My determination also translates over to my school life. I am in all honors and AP classes and I put forth my best effort academically. I have a 4.6/4.0 GPA. Finally, I pride myself in being a great teammate and always doing what’s right on and off the field, one example being thorough my acts of service. I completed 50 hours in my 7th-8th grade year and 20 in my freshman-sophomore years. I love to be connected not only to my teammates, but to my community. 

Soccer is something I can always turn to because I have a true love and passion for it.  I know that my speed and strength on the field as well as my academic success makes me well rounded individual and a strong addition to any team.  My college goals are to play somewhere that challenges me not only athletically but academically.
